Top 10 Players on the New York Giants

On paper, I couldn’t believe the amount of players I could list on our 2025 roster that have Pro Bowl potential. For years we suffered from mediocre draft classes and poor GM free agencies. Cough cough Kenny Golladay. Everything seems to be coming to a head for the New York Football Giants. So, as part of my illustrious top 10 series, I wanted to rank the top ten players on the New York Giants. The criteria is as follows:

Eye Test and minimal talking heads persuasion.

The Top Ten New York Giants

  1. Malik Nabers

    • A bit of an upset at number one, but I gave the nod for the top spot to this dynamic wide receiver because of the heavy load and importance he will have on the success of our offense this year.

  2. Dexter Lawrence

    • An absolute unit. He is a force to be reckoned with and is the anchor of our defense, especially for rush defense.

  3. Brian Burns

    • A breakout season incoming, he looks “different” this camp. I am predicting a possible long shot for DPOY this season for “spider-man”.

  4. Andrew Thomas

    • I don’t love this pick. Ellsworth always told me, “the best ability is availability”…and this does not help his argument at all. When he is healthy he’s proven to be all-pro potential…so there’s that.

  5. Russell Wilson

    • His ranking has much to do with his intangibles as we are all well aware he is not currently in his prime. Coming into a new system, he has done everything in his powers to change the culture in that locker room, and his teammates are responding. A mix of pure positivity, hard work, and past all-pro credentials give him the credibility to lead a group of men.

  6. Abdul Carter

    • I am taking the leap and “drinking the Kool-Aid” on this one. The tape doesn’t lie, he has the potential to become the best defensive talent in the NFL and he will be a force to be reckoned with on day 1. Perennial 15 sack man potential.

  7. Bobby Okereke

    • High football IQ and a natural born leader, Okereke brings stability and elite off ball linebacker play to this Giant’s roster.

  8. Javon Holland

    • A 2025 free agency acquisition, I believe Joe Schoen found himself a centerpiece of this dynamic Giant’s defense. A leader and an instinctive ball hawk, I expect Holland to lead this squad in interceptions in 2025.

  9. Kayvon Thibodeaux

    • A once heralded High School, College, and pro prospect… the hype around Kayvon has somewhat died down. Built like an absolute brickhouse, he lacks the rubber band like “bend” that players like TJ Watt, Nick Bosa, and our own Abdul Carter have. Still, he has the ability to bully lower level offensive tackles and be a 10 sack guy in 2025.

  10. Darius Slayton

    • Slayton, the commonly forgot about long-time member of the New York Football Giants has been a steady rock for this football team. He’s been through it all with this team. Multiple terrible quarterbacks….multiple dreadful seasons…and an occasional great season with a playoff victory sprinkled in. He has the ability to step in as WR1 for a game or two if Malik goes down. A solid #2 or #3 Wide Receiver in the NFL.
