Malik Nabers: Perfect Storm for Finishing as the NFL’s Top Fantasy WR in 2025

Malik Nabers— another one of our foundational gifts that we have received from the NFL Draft the past few years from being so horrible at football. Our top ten pick from 2024, this guy is an absolute dog (“dawg” but idk if I am allowed to say that). He has an interesting mix of being shy but also being extremely confident and borderline cocky. There were times in 2024 that his talent was obvious to see and his production was there, but his demeanor began to worry me. What has been found is that the man just hates losing.

So when it comes to fantasy football, how high is Malik Naber’s ceiling and what are the odds of him being a top dog out of the receivers? Some accomplishments from his rookie year:

-Broke the New York Giants Rookie Reception Record held by Odell Beckham at 91 with 109 receptions.

-Broke the NFL Rookie Reception Record held by Puka Nacua at 105 receptions with 109 receptions.

-Broke the New York Giants Total Receptions in a Season by Any Player Record held by Steve Smith at 107 receptions with 109 receptions.

Last year, Malik Nabers led the National Football in target share last year during his rookie campaign at a dominating rate of 34.9 team target share %. He was second to Jamarr Chase in total targets in 2024 while also missing TWO GAMES. All of this while also being plagued with extremely inconsistent quarterback play and a below average offensive line decimated with injuries. Now with a proven veteran quarterback (a few of them) that is an expert at making quick decisions and also throwing the deep ball…you can only assume that Malik’s depth per target will increase and his overall yardage/touchdown rate would increase as well.

Malik has a unique combination of elite speed/quickness, strength, and top 5 catching ability. He is also one of the top route runners in the NFL putting together one of the most well-rounded wide receiver archetypes for a potential Hall of Fame career.

With our tough schedule (needing to throw to stay in games), improved quarterback play, improved offensive line play, and a healthy season (hopefully) there’s absolutely nothing stopping Malik from being the #1 fantasy WR in the NFL.

Malik Nabers 2025 Season Stat Prediction:

-103 Receptions

-1,550 Receiving Yards

-14 Receiving Touchdowns
