Who is the best team to bet with this NFL season?

Yes, if you took one gander around these parts you’d notice we favor the G-men heavily…But I semi promise this is a unbiased opinion. The New York Giants will be every sharp’s pick this year ATS. Without relying on my gut feeling knowing that the Giant’s are going to put out a formidable team this year compared the “expert’s” predictions…there is a ton of data to back this claim up.

The biggest of these is their ability to cover as big underdogs. The books have placed our O/U win total at 5.5 games…which means they believe we will be lousy. They are also juicing the under….which means we will be seeing a heavy spread on much more than one occasion. To that notion, when the Giants are more than a 4 point underdog…they lead the entire NFL in covering that spread. How about that? As a Giant’s fan and a watcher of all games….I almost always have the opinion at least at some point during the season that we’re the “best worst team” in NFL history. We have the most wins as a 4 plus point underdog as well…and to add to all of this beautiful math, double digit underdogs in the NFL since 2003 have a 75-55-1 record ATS.

So with all the nerd stats leaning in the direction of taking the Giants for a ride all year, what’s the real reason we will be an unstoppable betting force. I believe our offense will struggle to score resulting in losses, but our defense will cause absolute chaos resulting in turnovers, low scoring games, and CLOSE losses aka profitable covers.

Do I believe the New York Football Giants are going to be Super Bowl champions? Eh…not when I am sober.

But I’d bet my wife’s cat that this Giants team will be netting all of us plenty of units this season if we take the OVER on wins and heat check them on ATS bets.
