Top Ten Players in the NFC East 2025
I love science and I hate being biased. It disgusts me. Going into the 2025 NFL season the New York Giants have put together a team on paper that has more above average players than I have seen in the last decade. Sitting on the porcelain throne this morning, I actually could name 14 players on our roster that I believe are above average at their position. I wanted to see how we fared against the other teams in the division and ultimately who are the best in the best in the greatest division in the NFL, the NFC East.
I wanted to make it somewhat unbiased and have some sort of individual scoring that I could use as a gauge to put together an accurate top 10 list rather than just going off the top of my head. Below is the formula that I am going to use for this impeccably unbiased list of goliaths of the NFC East.
Scoring Measures Used:
Pure Talent (10 Points)- This is your ultimate eye test portion of the exam. Going into the 2025…who is going to be the “man” at his position. Who is obviously different than his peers.
Actual Production (10 Points)- This is the prove it to me portion of the exam. You can look great at moments, and show flashes of your greatness…but you’ll earn 10 points if the proof is in your pudding on a weekly basis.
Value To Your Team (5 Points)- Simple enough, how valuable are you to your franchise. If you get injured today, how will the team perform without you.
Unbiased Rewards and Penalties:
Giants Player: +1 Point
Commanders Player: 0 Point addition/subtraction
Cowboys Player: -1 Point
Eagles Player: -1 Point
ALL TIES ARE BROKEN BY PERSONAL OPINION

1) Dexter Lawrence DT New York Giants (10 talent, 10 Production, 4 Team Value, +1 Giants Boost)= 25 Points
2) Micah Parsons Edge Cowboys (10 Talent, 10 Production, 5 Team Value, -1 Eagles Penalty)= 24 Points
3) Lane Johnson LT Eagles (10 Talent, 10 Production, 4 Team Value, -1 Eagles Penalty)= 23 Points
4) Saquon Barkley RB Eagles (10 Talent, 9 Production, 5 Team Value, -1 Eagles Penalty)= 23 Points

7) Jalen Carter DT Eagles ( 10 Talent, 9 Production, 4 Team Value, -1 Eagles Penalty)= 22 Points
8) CeeDee Lamb WR Cowboys (9 Talent, 8 Production, 4 Team Value, -1 Cowboys Penalty)= 20 Points

10) Laremy Tunsil LT Commanders ( 8 Talent, 8 Production, 4 Team Value, 0 Penalty)= 20 Points
Notable Mentions:
-Abdul Carter Edge New York Giants- Talent would be a 12..but the hasn’t played a game yet ruined his ranking lol.
-Brian Burns Edge New York Giants- Could’ve snuck onto the list…but didn’t.
-Dak Prescott QB Cowboys- So he’s sometimes okay, then sometimes rocks, and then mostly sucks. Ultimate Cowboys QB.
-Terry Mclaurin WR Commanders- Great guy and a stud but didn’t have the chops to crack the top 10. If loyalty was a scoring measure he would’ve made it.
-AJ Brown WR Eagles- He is a stud and honestly as I am writing this feel like he definitely should’ve been on the top 10. Sorry.
First of many weekly top 10’s to come. If there are any glaring missing players from this list please let me know…but please know it’s most likely because I hate them.
GO BIG BLUE.
