Lone Bright Stars: Top 5 Players So Far for the New York Giants
It’s been a rough start for the New York Giants, don’t need to beat a dead horse. In light of attempting to be more positive in my life and dropping my astronomic blood pressure, I have decided to rank our “bright spots” to start the year. Highlight the players who even through the losses are busting their asses and performing at a high level.
Top Five Players on the New York Giants Through Week 3
#5: Cam Skattebo
Skats has been an absolute menace on the football field. He’s shown promise, and played his ass off. Blocking, truck sticking, and craving contact. I love you Cam, we all do.
#4 Jermaine Eluemunor
Jermaine has been consistent and held his weight during this chaotic start to the season. Last game he finished with a 76.4 PFF grade with just one hurry. He compliments Thomas well.
#3 Kayvon Thibodeaux
His best year to date. He is finally starting to live up to the hype from his first round top 10 pick that we took him at. A sack in 2/3 games and rush win rates way above league average. Big pay day incoming.
#2: Malik Nabers
At the end of the day, he’s the best player on this team. When we find ways to get him the ball….he is a future hall of famer. Plane and simple. He occasionally takes a play off or two…may just be his natural demeanor but either way, I think he’ll be a consistent 7-10 catch a game 100 yard man when Jaxson suits up.
#1: Brian Burns
He’s a top 10 defensive lineman in the league right now. An absolute monster on the field. The only player who can finish at the quarterback. Fast, strong, and bendy….he is built to be a all-pro. With the help of our other defenders stepping up in the future, he’ll be unstoppable. Brian Burns led the Giants in week 3 with a 89.7 PFF Grade.
